- Linds was the first person I met when I moved to Tennessee. Her dad got transferred with my dad, so we had a common bond of being misplaced Northerners (which I no longer claim). We were best friends all through school. Then I went to Memphis, and she went to Huntsville, AL. We still stayed in touch and saw each other when we could, despite both of our hectic schedules. She's a Biology major with a Chemistry minor at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. She almost cried when I asked her to be the maid of honor! I think it's funny she didn't know it was coming when I told her I was getting married, she IS my best friend after all!

    - I met Mary when I went to Bethany Hills church camp the summer after I was in 5th grade. We became instant friends after that few days together. Every summer after that, I looked forward to going to camp to see her. Our senior year, I was excited to tell her that I was going to be in Memphis (where she lived) for college. I was even more excited when she told me she was going to be at the U of M too. I’m proud to say that we have been friends for over 10 years now!

    - Jessi and I randomly got thrown together to be roommates our freshman year at the U of M. We found out within minutes that we were going to get along. She and I remained roommates for 2 years, and, believe me, you get to know someone on a whole different level when you live with them. We’ve been through ups and downs together that only brought us closer. I was sad when she decided to move off-campus for our junior year, but we stayed in touch. Looking back now, I wish I’d have moved out with her. (I would have saved some money!) She is such a unique person, and I’m glad that I have gotten to share 4 years of my life with her so far.

    - I actually met Meghan because of Sean. They dated for several months while she and I were sophomores and he was a senior. They parted on good terms during his freshman year at the U of M. That next summer was when Sean and I started dating. When Meghan and I went to college, she wasn’t far from Sean and me at UT Martin. She came to Memphis a couple times, and we went to Martin for the football homecoming. We stay close, especially during the summers when we’re all back in Tullahoma together with nothing to do. I like having someone else who knows about Sean’s quirks to talk to, because God knows it takes more than one person to understand the complexity that is Sean’s mind!
